Getting Started
- Be a Sport/Golf Member in the Clubs at St. James.
- On your Clubs of St. James Profile under the "Advanced Section" in the communications preference select "From the Courts." Any questions on how should be directed to the clubs
- Call the Tennis shop at 910-477-8500 ext 2010 and request to be put on the Daily Court Report which provides the status of courts and clinics each day
- Joining the St. James Tennis Association, while a wise move, is not required to play
- Attend one of the New to St. James Tennis Programs held monthly.
- Click on the name for dates and information.
- While conducted by the St. James Tennis Association, it is open to anyone who is a sport/golf member and there is no fee.
- Show up at one of the Women's, Men's or Mixed Open Tennis Events scheduled by the Tennis shop.

- Learn how to reserve courts using the Court Reserve system implemented Aug 21 and managed by the Clubs at St James
- Stop by the Tennis Shop at the Founders Tennis Courts
- Meet the professionals: Brian, Jason, Kim and Adam.
- Learn about the clinics and lesson opportunities, besides seeing what great people they are
- The tennis shop is open seven days a week from 8AM-4PM
- Join one of the Recreational Leagues which form Spring, Summer and Fall.

As mentioned above, membership in the SJTA is a wise move to enhance your overall tennis experience not to mention the other social opportunities only open to the 400+ SJTA members. Annual SJTA membership is $25/pp. Questions on payments?

How to Recycle Tennis Balls
Last year, St James sent them 10,800 balls. Through 2022, for the almost 5 years we have been sending balls to them, we have sent 45,657 used balls.
There are recycling bins at all court complexes. Please recycle your balls! If you have a quantity of balls, email Jim Parker ([email protected]) to arrange a hand off.
