The Clubs of St James will host the 2023 Club Singles Tournament. Signups are now open by visiting or calling the tennis shop. There are sign up sheets for 3.0, 3.5, and Open levels for both men and women. You can play up, but you can’t play down.
By popular demand, the tournament matches to determine inalists will be played from Noon on November 6 through December 2. This allows for your own flexible scheduling format.
All matches will be 2 out of 3 sets with a 3rd set 10-point tie breaker. The draw will be set depending on the number of participants. Players in the Finals will be determined by best W-L record then fewest games lost. Any un-played matches will be a loss scored as 0-6 0-6. Players are totally and completely responsible for playing matches by the end date. Please be diligent and get the matches in early as possible. Full rules and guidelines will be released once the draw is complete.
Only you, the members, can make this event bigger and better. Let’s make it fun, grow the singles community, and have more players than ever this year.
