End of Winter Charity Tennis Extravaganza
Thank you to all the participants who came out for Brian’s fundraiser this past Wednesday. Your generosity in support of Children’s Cancer Partners was greatly appreciated.
The round robins brought some new players out to enjoy some friendly competition. Nostalgia set in when the wooden racquets were brought out – a real throwback to our younger days in tennis.
The 50/50 drawing brought in $620 total. The winner of half the pot was Cathy Murawski who promptly returned her winnings to Brian in support of the charity.
The Silent Auction portion of this event will now be held on April 19 during the first day of the Spring Teams Tournament.
