The SJTA supports the area's tennis community through our fund-raisers as well as supporting other charitable activities and volunteer efforts. With this in mind, here is an opportunity to support the Brunswick County Special Olympics through the efforts of our SJTA members Jim Parker and Carrie Guerrette.
The 2024 Special Olympics Brunswick County Polar Plunge will take place on March 2, 2024 between 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The plunge will occur between 1:30-2:00.
Location for this wintry leap into the chilly water of the ocean - Middleton Park, 102 SE 47th St, Oak Island. There will be food, games, entertainment, & a costume contest.
Too chicken to plunge? Donate to get a “Too Chicken to Plunge Shirt” and/or donate to an individual fundraiser or team in support of Special Olympics Brunswick County.
Brunswick County Special Olympics is also partnering with Oak Island Water Rescue for their annual Food Drive. Help us feed the hungry in Brunswick County! Please bring non-perishable food items to the Plunge.
